Angelicglow will be attending the HSMG Denver Soapmaking Conference this year and it is sold out. I'll be covering it as Social Media Chair on the Board of Directors. My fantastic committee and I will be posting continuous coverage as to the activities at hand about all the wonderful learning opportunities as well as the fun activities. At long last, I've prepped a demo in three stages for a golden pure and natural liquid soapmaking class:

First - I'll take you through the crock pot method
Secondly - from full trace hot process to liquid state
Lastly - liquid state to finished product to color and scent a 4 ounce bottle

You get to keep the recipe and I'll have kits available for purchase to make your own 1 1/2 gallon batch at home unscented. Scents are also available.

When: Sunday, March 7 at 1:00 - 3 pm

Where: Soap Studio Brookside, 25 Brookside Lane, Chenango Forks, NY 13746

Bring notepad and class fee plus supply purchases fee

Class Fee: $30.00 each

Kits: $20.00

Can't make it? Just email me a classes@angelicglow.com and schedule one at my home on a weekend or evening. Group parties are fun and can take up to 8 people. Also M&P classes for young girls available too.

Cortland Beginner Class January 30

OCMBOCES McAvoy Center is holding my Beginner Soapmaking Class 9 am - noon on Saturday, January 30. This is a great deal since it is over a $100 value for 1/2 of that for both the BOCES fee and the supplies fee. You go home with your creation of 30 wonderfully scented and colored and herbed bars of soap. If you repeat students have a special request for scent, just contact me at classes@angelicglow.com. Remember that wonderful natural glycerin is a humectant and an emolliant for our skin.

Beginner class w/goat's milk option

It's worth the trip to downtown Binghamton, this Sunday, 10-4 at the St. Pat's gym on Oak Street. They have a good variety and you'd be surprised at the affordable Christmas shopping you can accomplish. Especially at the Angelicglow booth!!

DCMOBOCES Norwich Master Soapmaking Class this Saturday

Looks like a great group of soapmakers coming together this Saturday at the newly renovated Norwich facility! They will learn to master the recipes learned in the beginner and advanced classes by layering, splitting their batch, double color swirling, enriching, using clays and more.

Not real savvy about goats in general but enjoy the wonderful vitamin benefits of goat's milk in soap and lotion. As HSMG VP was asked to do demonstrations at this years American Dairy Goat Conference held within driving distance in Buffalo, NY.
